Antique Twin Tear Drop AKA Anona Early American Pattern Glass Footed Plate ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Very nice Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG) footed plate or dish with lovely scalloped edges and cross arched design with crosshatching and a rayed center. It is slightly upturned as well. The pattern is on the underside of the plate. It is by Bryce or Higbee & Co. Circa 1905. It is clear or crystal colored glass, so I shot pictures of it with a black back drop outside in natural lighting on a cloudy day to try to show the pattern better for you. It is 9 1/4" in diameter. Weight is1 lb 2 oz before shipping. It is unmarked but identified in the American Pattern Glass Table Sets ID & Value Guide Book by Gene Florence on page 176 . It is in very good condition without any chips, cracks, repair other than one very small flake on the underside of one scallop on the edge that is not visable when displayed. It is hard to see or find and being on the underside of the scallop is hardly worth mentioning, but I do so for accuracy. T are some light surface scratches which is not unexpected with an older piece and some fine small manufacturing cooling swirl lines in the glass. It weighs 1 lb 2 oz before shipping. With shipping, I am estimating the shipping weight at 2 lb 1 oz with careful packaging & appropriate size box. ~~~~ Buyer Friendly Pictures : Although it costs more to list, I always try to shoot multiple pictures of each item listed so the buyer gets a clear picture of it from different angles & lighting conditions. T are a few items w I feel that one picture is sufficient. Also, with shooting glass, porcelain or metal, t may be a glare from the camera flash outdoor lighting. Please email should you have any clarity questions about the pictures, and I will be happy to get back with your answer.Helpful Buying Hint: Remember when bidding to place a maximum bid or the highest you want to go on the item to help keep a sniper from shooting you out of the water at the last minute..... This way Ebay will do the bidding for you until the bidding reaches your maximum. ~ TERMS & SHIPPING INFORMATION~Buyers : I accept paypal, money order & cashier's check, & personal check when approved by me through email prior to buying (must be in good long standing status with ebay). I always try to inform the buyer of any delay for unexpected situations.USA: Extra Plus ! Delivery confirmation is included in shipping cost for U.S.A. bidders/Buyers.Although I always wrap very carefully with strong boxes & much cushioning of each item packed, insurance and priority mail is highly recommended for fragile items. Please be aware that parcel post is generally rougher and slower with more stops enroute than priority mail. I cannot be personally responsible for damage or loss during shipping. Buyer is responsible for insurance cost when assumed. I try to be accurate in shipping weight, however, since I sell in large quantities, I do not box my items in advance. T is a small packaging handling charge of $1.00 for small packages to $2.00 for large boxes. If I am under estimate in shipping cost, I absorb the extra cost which is in the buyer's favor. If t is overage in my estimate, I refund overage to the buyer when shipped. Combined Shipping: Multiple items that can be shipped at the same time qualify for a discount on shipping/handling price. Please click on "have seller send invoice" on each item you purchase so that I can make sure it is included. T is No Handling Charge per item regardless of number of purchases combined for shipping at the same time. T is a one time $2.00 charge for handling for combined purchases regardless of number of boxes it takes to ship that order. T he shipping charge is the actual weight of the packed box.
