An Exceptionally large leaded crystal water pitcher with applied strap handle and nicely wheel-cut designs, especially Russian-cut panel on the front and at the rear, and foliate forms details on each side. It is of American origin and dates to about 1915. It features "gang-cut" flower blossoms, one on each side, and a compound rayed star on the base. It is an exceptional example. It measures 13 1/8" tall by a maximum diameter at the base of 6 3/4". The pitcher does exhibit a few extremely tiny flake chips to edges of the smallest dimension, but otherwise it remains in superb condition considering its vulnerable nature.
