I am far from an expert on oil lamps, in fact I know next to nothing, but I have tried to describe this lovely lamp as well as I can. If I have missed something important or have made a mistake please get in touch.This is a lovely antique oil lamp, with a Bristol blue glass reservoir , an elegant and highly decorative brass column, all raised on a heavy, stepped, circular black base. There is a double wick burner, with the words 'Duplex English Made' on the wick winders.The glass shade has a band of attractive raised floral decoration on the frosted glass globe part, with a tall, ruffled wave glass top.The oil lamp measures 23 inches high, 59cms, including the shade, while it is 14 inches to the burner ring, 35.5 cms.The lamp is in very good condition.I hope the photos show what an attractive, high quality oil lamp this is.I have more oil lamps and shades for sale, please take a look at my other listings.
