Portable Campaign furniture flourished in the early 1900's, as it allowed soldiers to experience the comforts of home while traveling during battle. This portable bar was used by the military in various parts of the British Colonies (Africa or India), for the officers to take their drinks in the open air. As you can see, this piece contains an upper shelf for which to hold glasses. It is made of solid wood with beautiful, solid brass.
