Nothing takes the shiver out of your timbers like a pint of rum.The pump was used aboard ship for dispensing spirits from a barrel, one pull of the handle was one ration.The check valve assembly at the end of the plunger is complete with the exception of the main leather seal used to create the vacuum when drawing up the plunger. No attempt has been made to disassemble the check valve assembly.This will make a great "what is it" puzzle for your guests . The pump measures 41 inches long with the handle all the way down.
