Antique bronze, porcelain and gilt metal 19th Century French clock. The clock has a beautiful women's face and a lovely floral decorated porcelain urn at the top. The sides have mythological birds heads and lions in full relief. The base has animal claw feet. The bottom has a lovely decorative shield with a cartouche in the center. The clock is in excellent condition with its original pendulum and key. The face of the clock is signed Camerden and Forster. The porcelain face is hand painted with birds, butterflies, flowers and a birds nest with eggs. It is also decorated with cobalt blue and gilt painting. Below the clock face is a lovely inset porcelain plaque with a pastoral scene and a young girl playing the flute, another young girl petting a lamb, and a young man leaning against a fence. The overall condition and design of this clock is wonderful. Rarely can you find clocks of this quality offered at any price.
