This is a real beauty. An old estate piece. A York Pennsylvania duck decoy by E.H. Brooks Jr. Hand carved wood. Fabulous old paint that has crackled and aged over the years. Can still see the detailing in the old paint like the feathers. Glass eyes. Bottom has a middle iron weight with copper rivets. Attached leather strap is also attached with copper rivets and has a loop. Signed another name F. Dietrich in pencil. Measures 15 inches from tail to bill. Width at top is 6.5 inches. Truly a great piece of Americana. At the estate, several men stopped me to look at it and to inquire as to w I had found it. It got a lot of attention. LUCKY ME it was the only one!! Now maybe you can get lucky and own this rare piece. Payments : I appreciate immediate payment but will allow up to 5 days. PayPal is my preferred method of payment. For all others, please remit money orders by mail promptly and the same goes for e-checks through PayPal as those can take up to a week to clear. I do NOT accept personal checks or cashiers checks. Refunds : My items are used 95% of the time and t is expected wear and tear, tfore I donâe(tm)t do refunds. I list with lots of details and pictures so it is your responsibility to ask before bidding. If something does not fit, is not shiny, and new (when the item is listed as used), etcâe¦I will not refund you. The ONLY time I refund you is if I have grossly mis-represented an item and it is no longer functional or wearable. If it is used and has some perfume smell or you see a deodorant spot, I will not refund you. If the problem can be fixed with washing, then it is still in good condition and usable. If I do refund you, I will refund ONLY the cost of the item, not the shipping. Iâe(tm)ve never had this happen but one time and it was because of this bidder and the nightmare she put me through that I have devised this policy. Shipping : I choose what method is the most economical for the size of the item. Large items will be sent via parcel post or ground. Otherwise if the item is small it will be sent via Priority mail or First Class mail. If you need something expedited then let me know and we can calculate additional shipping costs. Otherwise, I ship in a about a week after payment is cleared due to my scheduling and because some buyers have reversed payments after an item has shipped. Insurance is your option and you must ask for it. My invoice will be sent without insurance and only added if you request it. International Buyers : Unfortunately, I do not like to ship internationally. Most of my buyers from out of the country dispute the costs and time it takes when both are out of my control. If you are overseas and are interested in an item, please ask before bidding. I will review your feedback you have left for other US sellers and make a decision at that time. I will NOT ship large, heavy items Internationally. Feedback : If your feedback is below 98% do not bid please without asking me first. I will review your feedback to determine you are a reliable and responsible bidder. Most of my non-payers have had very poor feedback. That leaves me with the added task of relisting the item and having to pay additional fees. This is also unfair to others who wanted the item but were outbid. Item History : I buy most of my items from estates, resale shops and yard sales. I, in no way can tell you if this item came from a smoke free, pet free, germ free home. I make sure the item is clean and if it has any odors, I will wash it or air it out the best I can. We do have a dog (Molly, our Westie, hence my user name: GoodGollyMissMollysMomma) but she is limited to the living room and dining room and does not come into my office, shipping area. That does not mean I wonâe(tm)t carry her hair around. As with any used clothing purchase, I recommend you have it cleaned to your liking.
