This auction is for an old bubble glass (convex glass) picture frame. T is a date on the glass of 1924. This is a beautiful frame. It's being sold in AS IS condition due to some wear to the gold colored finish near the glass. Apart from that the frame is in good condition with just a few normal age/wear marks. It's made from wood with gesso decoration. Approximate dimensions 13 3/4 inches by 22 inches overall and this will hold an 11 1/4 inch by 19 1/4 inch picture. The glass is quite dirty inside and out and t are some dirt spots that show up in the pictures. T are some slight age spots on the picture as well, but I believe the picture is original to the frame. The old bubble glass is in good shape and just needs a clean. The frame is made and sold by the Chicago portrait Co, please see images for details. This is a beautiful quality frame that is ready to be used. This frame requires special packaging so Fedex Ground delivery will be in the range of $15 to $20 within the lower forty eight States.
