Welcome To Ricochet Roy's Old West "W The Old West Is As Real As The Heart Can Dream" ***Featured Item Description*** We are pleased to offer for Auction a very old set of August Buermann's New Up-To-Date Engraved Double Gal Leg Spurs" . This set of matching spurs are featured on page 24 of the August Buermann Mfg. Co. Illustrated Catalogue No. 35, Model No. 2315-Patent. The Estimated Circa places these spurs at about 1880, and as shown in their original condition showing their beautiful and untouched-unpolished antique patina are extremely rare and collectible. They are stamped with the famous Buermann "5 Point Star" Hallmark with the Initials "AB" in the Star. As well, this set of Spurs are stamped "HERCULES BRONZE", and "PATENT", which is also clearly seen in the photos. August Buermann won his Patent for "HERCULES BRONZE" in 1880. These Spurs measure about 6 inches long, including the 2 3/4 inch shanks and the 1 5/8 inch 20 point rowels. The rowels spin freely, t are no broken points, and they are original. The boot opening is about 3 inches wide. Other than a couple of slightly bent rowel points (as shown in the photos), t are no bends, breaks or repairs.
