This is a really attractive piece of antique furniture. I have owned this buffet for about 8 years and have never tried to sell it until now. I bought it in a storage auction amongst many other things. I have always reffered to it as my 'Bonanza Buffet' because it would fit in perfectly on the old western tv show Bonanza. I am not an expert on furniture, but it goes; 1. Part of it, or all of it, is handmade. Displays a very rustic/relic/old west appearance and carvings are handmade without electric tools. 2. The whole piece is sold wood. No veneer anyw, even the shelf inside the bottom part is solid hard wood. The top drawer insides are solid wood also made of a lighter wood, but not plywood. It is very heavy and thick and sturdy. 3. T are no phillips head screws in the piece. 4. T is no manufacture identification anyw to be found other than a chalked number on back that could be old shipping info or who knows? 5. T are no broken or missing parts. An occasional small scratch, bump, or nic is present but seriously only adds to the attraction. 6. I used this in my house for the first 4 years, then it has been stored in garage for last 4 years. It is dusty in some of the pictures but beautiful and shiny when dusted off. 7. I think it was made sometime between the civil war and WW I but i cant pinpoint because i am not an expert. 8. The inside of top drawer has a silverware tray made of solid wood resting on red velvet and other space for napkins and accessories. 9. The bottom cabinet has two doors and a shelf inside, probably meant for stacks of plates, cups, dishes, etc. 10. Pick up in person only, i am not going to ship, i just need it out of my garage because i am moving to small apartment.11. Measurements are 38.5" tall, 64.5" wide, 19" deep.Thanks. Brandon.
