It features a very wide top surface with a very unique big back splash. This back splash has an ornate face and scroll design with turned columns to support the candle-plate shelf. It has three solid and smooth operating dovetailed drawers with attractive raised carving designs with gorgeous brass pulls. This large sideboard has three spacious cabinets all having convenient removable shelves. Each of their doors opens smoothly with piano hinges, and each has brass escutcheons with a key for to keep your valuable items safe. Both the left and right cabinet's doors feature a classic raised trim carving with a hand carved face in the center. And on the centered cabinet's beveled doors t is a gorgeous detailed carved recessed double diamond. This exquisite artwork is framed with elegant beveled trims that really make the piece stand out. This is a gorgeous piece of furniture that will be cherished at home for generations to come! Structural Integrity: Although t is one ding on the front bottom and both front top corners has minor scratches, and a chip on the back very top, this sideboard is in excellent cosmetic and structural condition and it is very heavy, rock solid strong and sturdy. This sideboard is in very good condition considering the server's age, circa 1940! This server has been sprayed with lacquer to condition the wood by our expert restoration team. td> Interior Condition: We always clean out the interior and 98% of the time, leave the interior as we found it, in its original state. td> Finish This cabinet has a gorgeous natural patina that only time and care can produce.
