This is a very unique piece!! It is a table made from Burl Wood. It is believed to have been made in the 1910's and as you can see by the label, was made in Rio de Janeiro. The centerpiece is an amazing arrangement of butterfly wings under pressed glass. The center butterfly has lasted very well as you can see and the remaining wings are in wonderful condition. Many of the wings are irridesent and the entire piece is just amazing!

The rim does have 3 cracks, and the glass has a half-moon crack, but it is solid and still tight. The rest of the table is in excellent condition.

It stands 28" tall

The top is 21" across, the glass opening is 16 1/2"

The bottom of base is 18" across
