This is an awesome cabinet photo! Front of the card has the following written on it: J. Lowy, K. K. Hofphotograph Wien 1887. Back of the card has the following written on it: J. Lowy K. K. Hof-Photograph Wien 1. Weihburggassee No. 31 K. K. Gartenbaugesellschaft Vervielfaltigung vorbehalten Marion & Co. London. Measures: 4 1/4 x 6 1/2 inches CONDITION: The Condition of this cabinet photo is very good. It has light soiling and light edge ware. Please note that the right edge is more worn than the rest of the piece, but that it doesn't affect the quality of the picture. On the back the name of the duchess has been written in pencil, but can probably be erased. T is also a thin line of ink(?) running through the center of the back. However, please view the photos provided to judge for yourself. The photo is much better in person. The photo captures a very historical moment in time. : ) (See Photos) This is a great find!
