Rare Antique Cake Plate with Asiatic Pheasants Design, Good Condition This pattern was made by many British potters and by 1880 had achieved universal popularity. Asiatic Pheasants is a quintessential English design inspired by an oriental original. The plate on offer is backstamped Asiatic Pheasants, C & E (which indicates a manufacturer Cartwright & Edwards Ltd, Fenton, Staffs and a date between 1857 and 1926). 10" diameter at the top and the base is 7.5" diameter. It is 2.25" high. In reasonable condition for its age with no visible cracks, chips or repairs. However, there is some age crazing which is visible in pics Please check out our other items.
