Here is a hard to find old light, originally made to create light with a carbon arc. These lightswere originally made by Adams-Bagnal in the late 1890's. This one, in the samestyle was made by Westinghouse - no patent date but "Style 38015" on the brass tag.which says "Westinghouse Enclosed Arc Lamp".Comes with its original blue porcelain shade. Was told that it came out of a railroaddepot here in mid Nebraska. The copper part measures about 9" wide by 15" tall. The shade is 20" wide. It has been converted and has a porcelain socketwhich would hold a light bulb but needs a cord. Original carbon arc elements have been removed.Looks like something from Frankenstein's lab.Weighs 13+ pounds.Postage quoted is for lower 48 states only.
