You are bidding on an Antique Carved Designer Sofa Loveseat Settee Bench. This is a RARE FIND due to its size, age and beauty and dates back to the earlier part of the 1900s and is Circa 1920 and was American made. This piece was VERY WELL made and of the HIGHEST quality and sits on beautifully curved cabriole legs with beautifully carved paw feet and scrolling Ancathus leaves carved on each leg. It has nicely recessed frame work with scallop carved trim throughout. The sides are BEAUTIFULLY flared as shown in the photos with floral carved motifs at the top of each arm rest. The back has a beautifully carved open lattice floral design with a beautiful bell flower carved at the top and a nice Fleur De Lis carved in the design all in nice floral carved foliage. It has beautiful button tufted backrest in Scalamadre Silk upholstery with a nice pink color in a Satin finish with a down cushion as you can see in the pictures below. The sette has a faux grain painted design and is a solid mahogany frame underneath and the faux grain decor needs to be touched up throughout and has a few minor repairs. This is an EXCELLENT accent piece that I PROMISE will be a topic of conversation and pieces like this are getting very hard to find. This piece was VERY WELL made with quality that surpasses ANYTHING made today and is all wood construction but Please understand that this is antique so it has some minor imperfections on it with its age and the upholstery needs to be professionally cleaned or recovered but overall its in excellent shape. This piece measures approx 50 inches long, 34 3/4 inches high, 26 1/4 inches deep and sits at approx 20 inches in height.This is a NO RESERVE auction and since I am assuming all the risk by starting the bidding at $1 dollar you will have to pay for shipping.
