Antique Carved Painted French Bassinette, Quilt Holder?

I will do my best to describe this one-of-a-kind what I call a French Quilt Holder. I inherited this piece and have sent pictures to antique dealers and they told me its "Very Unique" and could not identify it. My mother used it to store her linens and quilts in. My wife thinks it was an antique bassinette. Please review the pictures closely and email me if you know or have seen another piece like it. I will gladly update my description. Beautifuly carved wood with painted flowers on each end. It has a wood bottom and is great for storing linens and quilts. Or at the foot of your bed as a compliment to your bedroom set. T are some flaws and cracks in the wood but does not detract from the antique value of the piece. The two pieces that match each other also appear to be a headboard and footboard to a bed. T are slits on the ends at the seam w these two pieces meet that appear to allow two bed rails (who knows?). I will later add dimensions, if it w a bed it would defiantly be a day bed or a single. Dimensions: 42" long, 19" wide, and 25" high Update 4-27-07 I received an email that stated it looks like a French Bassinette and the slits inside would probably be used w an Iron Bar attached to support stands at each end...allowed the bassinette to be Rocked. OK Shipping Terms: I would prefer local pick-up. However with that being said I will allow for shipping if arranged by the buyer and payment is received in full prior to pickup. I will allow 10 days to arrange for pickup. T is a local company in Rocklin that has shipped items large like this for me, if you are interested I can email you their business name and phone.
