Antique Carved Tudor Walnut Dining Room Chairs ~6~ NR ! THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION !!! You are bidding on a set of 6 Antique Carved Tudor Walnut Dining Room Chairs. I have the matching sideboard to this set and ALL of these auctions start at one dollar bids with NO reserve. This set is a RARE FIND and was VERY WELL made by Rockford Republic Furniture Co in Rockford IL which at the time was famous as Rockford IL made THE FINEST and most BEAUTIFUL Tudor furniture. This set consists of 2 arm and 4 side chairs which is a hrad find in itself with sets like these. They sit on BEAUTIFULLY carved tapered block legs with block tipped feet. They have beautiful Ancathus carved columns at the top with a nice floral leaf patern carved into the wood with nicely scalloped and carved trim work. The backrests have a nicely arched highback which these are the largest I have sen in sets like these. This set was VERY WELL made with quality that surpasses anything made today and is all wood construction but Please understand that this is antique so it has some minor imperfections on it and the upholstery on it is original and will need to be redone but overall its in excellent shape. Each chair measures approx 46 inches high21 1/2 inches wide and 20 inches deep. The arm chairs are the same height but they are approx 29 inches wide from arm to arm, 21 1/2 inches deep and all the chairs sit at approx 18 inches in height. This is a NO RESERVE auction and since I am assuming all the risk by starting the bidding at 1 dollar you will have to pay for shipping. We ship just about anything, anyw in the world and accept almost any form of payment but prefer to use Pay Pal.
