For your consideration an antique cast iron well pump. Fresh from a local estate. The pump is in great condition. It is made of cast iron and has a brass pump cylinder in the center. The red paint is in great condition. The handle still works. The handle is embossed PETER'S PUMP CO. KEWANEE ILL. The top of the base is embossed PAT. AP'D FOR The pump measures overall 21" in height by 11 3/4" in width by 8 1/4" in depth. It weighs 19 pounds. These small pumps were usually found in kitchens over hanging the sink. They were used to pump well water before modern water supplies were available. An excellent addition to any antique or kitchenware collection or if you just want to own a neat old hand water pump.
