Antique Cast Iron Figural Owl Andirons This auction is for a magnificent pair of antique cast iron andirons.This wonderful figural pair is done in the form of owls, each having set glass eyes which I would imagine glow in front of the flames. The set was acquired from a recent Connecticut estate. We are told the owner had purchased the set in the 1950âe(tm)s from an antiques store. T are no markings that we could find.This great old pair of andirons remains in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, splits, breaks, etc. The pair does have a nice patina from age.
