THIS IS A POSITIVELY AMAZING LATE 1800'S TO EARLY 1900'S LAWN JOCKEY. HE IS BETTER KNOWN AS "JOCKO". HE MEASURES 37" TALL, 22" IS THE JOCKEY FIGURE AND THE BASE IS 15". HE IS MADE OF CAST IRON AND IS QUITE HEAVY. HE WEIGHS ABOUT 65 POUNDS. HE HAS THE ORIGINAL PAINT AND HAS NO KNOWN RESTORATION. HE IS IN HORSE COUNTRY AND READY FOR THE DERBY HERE IN KY. HE OBVIOUSLY SPENT A LOT OF TIME INDOORS, WHICH WAS WHERE HE WAS WHEN WE GOT HIM (GARAGED.) HE CAME OUT OF AN ESTATE IN FT MYERS, FLORIDA,AND WAS MOSTLY KEPT INSIDE THE SUNPORCH ! HOPEFULLY I TOOK ENOUGH PICTURES TO SEE ALL OF HIS WONDERFUL FEATURES. THIS IS A VERY RARE AND HARD TO FIND ITEM. I HAVE HAD SEVERAL AND HAVE NEVER EVER EVEN SEEN ONE THIS OLD AND IN THIS CONDITION. He said that he owns 2 of the original FISKE YARD JOCKYS,and this one one is most likely a FISKE because of the smooth clean lines and the quality of the craftsmanship plus the attention to detail, this sets this one apart from the reproductions that are out there! He told me this is a real one from around 1899 to 1905 and it should read more
