BUYER ALERT: We've have many watchers and several questions regarding this neat old stove so let me address a few questions and concerns of ours and yours. First, as a buyer myself, I would suggest that you do nbt wait until the last minute to bid. Bid early for the highest amount that you actually want to pay because this item will most certainly have some last second bidders! I WOULD PREFER YOU PREINSPECTED THE STOVE PRIOR TO BIDDING. I have 500 positive transactions with 100% feedback so though I would love to sell the stove to you, it is more important to me that I maintain my perfect reputation. It is for sale "AS IS" untested, YES, rusty and may need some refurbishing if it does not work perfectly. Certainly a good buffing of the iron and a coat of fire resistant paint would do wonders but beyond that I cannot say. This stove is truly UNIQUE! It looks like it is ready to use right now though I haven't used the stove. This nice looking stove was made by the KING company out of Alabama. It shows normal wear for an antique of this age...some rust and t, but that is to be expected and a little black heat resistant BBQ paint really goes a long way! This looks to be perfect candidate for a full restore or a charming functional rustic cabin furnace. What I love about this old stove is the unusually smaller size- it is about 28 inches tall and just 13 inches wide at the stove top and belly. This would be perfect for a cabin, living room or even as a wonderful conversation piece. T is an adjustable grate inside that is unpictured and as far as I can tell this stove looks complete and ready to refurbish! Either way this a very rare model and maker so you will not have another chance to buy it this nice again! Seeing is believing so if you live locally feel free to call and come see: . Other folks from a distance can email for additional pictures. I can't imagine how I would ship this item but perhaps UPS ground could bring it to you for $100 or so in shipping costs. This is just a guess but we would be willing to investigate this for you if you are serious about owning this stove. Feel free to check on this yourself prior to bidding. Now, I have had a few shipping questions and though we have selected LOCAL PICKUP ONLY for the security of the stove and both the buyer and the seller: *As my ad mentions t is rust (it's pretty uniform and from what I understand typical of an iron stove of this age) though I didn't see any cracks. Still if you don't accept my invitation to pre-inspect the stove BEFORE bidding then know you are buying this stove in As Is untested condition. Please come see it if you can, as we do not negotiate prices after the fact. So bid what you want to pay assuming it may need something in a worst case scenario. It looks complete and functional to my eye, but again I have never used it or any pot belly stove and I want to make sure we can both leave positive wonderful feedback for each other at the end. We have earned 100% positive feedback and aim to keep it that way. We expect your due diligence to have a smooth transaction. I always assume worst case when I buy something so I won't be disappointed. This is why we prefer a local buyer though, because that way if it doesn't work out perfectly at least we will know it right then and t and no one would paid big money and spent time and energy to ship it. T are really are a bunch of watchers so don't wait until the last minute to bid your highest bid! To be shipped: the stove would need to be packed carefully, disassembled and with decent material so let's just say that a small that fee covers the handling of this heavy stove assume if it's doable that you will be paying $110 to get it to you additionally and are buying the stove AS IS and paying with a MONEY ORDER/ CASHIERS CHECK.
