We have always collected antiques of all kinds. Over the next few months we will be thinning out some piled up antique things from 3 generations. Two outbuildings to unload is bound to bring out some nice and unusual items enjoyable to find.

This Crystal Metal Bell is a No. 3 which is a little larger than most cast iron bells. T is no damage. No cracks or repairs to the bell, the yoke, or the cradle. I'm including the bolts and square nuts with fastener plate wich held the bell to a 4x4 wood post. The paint is old and chipping, scratched etc. The bell has a good loud ring. Crystal metal was known to establish their name after the crystal ringing sound made by their "special" metal. This is a great bell and can serve different purposes as well as be nostalgic.

The base or rim diameter is 18 1/2 inches across,

It is 24 inches at its widest and 14 1/2 inches tall,

The chain is 4 feet long.

It reads Crystal metal, No.3 upright , C. S. Bell CO. No. 3 yoke 1886, Hillsboro O.

Item will be shipped when payment is received. We will only charge exact shipping cost, we are not out to make $ off shipping. Pick up at our home is free. We prefer a cashiers check but will accept Pay Pal, money order, and ship when payment is recieved. Of course we will wait for personal checks to clear before shipping.
