This auction is for a " Antique Cast Iron "Snappit Bank" made by Judd c1895. This bank is in Original "MINT" condition with no breaks, cracks, rust or repaint. Jappaned finish is great with no noticable wear. This is a mechanical bank that works by releasing lock/catch under the small door under eve on front of building. Then you pull the tiny handle opening the door and deposit coin on tray. By releasing door witch is spring loaded door snaps shut depositing coin in bank. This bank is found in Moore' Penny Bank Book # 1249 and listed for $850 back in 2000. This is a great bank and you will not be diapointed! Check out my other great antique auctions .
