this is a lovely antique Catholic Bible. The Holy Bible according to the Douay and Rheimish Versions with the complete notes of Rev. George Leo Haydock New York. 1856, The bible is leather bound. Both front and back hindges are completely separated from the bible (both covers are entirely not connected to the bible). Other than that the bible looks complete and in reasonably good condition. there is tanning to the pages. wonderful illustrations. Theological History in Miniature is a section in the back. The front cover has the name "Francis O'Maraa" is the name on the front of the bible in gold gilt. Inside the front and back cover (see picture) there is some discoloration on the front inside page and back inside page. There is some water stains on some of the pages but the interior of the books is basically good. Please ask questions and see my other old bibles.
