From a local estate sale comes a 1925 CG Conn wood clarinet. The serial # on both keyed sections matches and is B125827L and research on this serial # dates the clarinet to 1925. All keys are present and operate freely. I do not play woodwinds so I do not know how it plays. The pads may need reconditioning or replacement so it comes as is. The mark is the beaded CG Conn oval with CG Conn Elkhart, Indiana. incised within. The overall length from top of mouthpiece to bell is about 26 1/2". T are no apparent chips, cracks or splits. The sections come apart with some ease and t appears to be cork with black linen or silk thread in all joints. The bell and mouthpiece sections have a impressed eagle trademark. This is a nice find and in apparent good to great condition. T is no case included. Please note: · I am not an expert or authority on these items.
