Up for your bidding pleasure we have a rather interesting item that turned out in one of our storage facilities. This particular chair was crated in a large wooden box accompanied by another artifact (featured in a separate auction), very well cushioned and packed. The crate itself suffered from severe water deterioration and was falling apart - all the nails were rusted and the wood was warping badly. Unfortunately, the crate itself is non-salvageable. The Chair itself seems to be in rather excellent shape. No damage visible. The only description I have for this item is from a paper that seems to be a receipt or invoice of sorts, I will attempt to take some pictures of it, but it is rather illegible from the water damage. The only way to read anything from it is to hold it against a window...The invoice is from a " fabbricante di mobili Torino S.A." to a P.O. Box in Seattle, WA T is a date - 14/05/1987 and a brief description in english words: 24kt gold leaf, carved, versace medusa...Then t is a tag attached to the seat back/bottom that seems to be from the present/very clean print - It lists the Versailles Collection? The chair looks rather old/antique but the upholstery looks very new almost unused. I have no other pertinent info in regards to this chair - If anyone knows more, feel free to email me and I will post it. The renter of the storage space has a home address in Barcelona, Spain. The local info we had on him turned out nothing - all of the contents, 2 items, in his storage space will be auctioned on ebay in order to collect on the due funds for the space. You can read more about RFE and what we do on our ME page. The chair can be shipped vis UPS and FedEx, I imagine, and also ca be shipped freight - on a pallet. The buyer has the right to choose any shipper of his choice. On these rather large items, we have found that it is best for the buyer to decide what service they would like - I have included measurements of the chair in the pictures. Contact any shipper of your preference, add any insurance you would like and email me with your shipping price or options. This chair comes out of our Miami, FL warehouse. It will be transferred to our shipping/receiving hub in Tampa, FL - so calculate shipping from Tampa, FL. You can pick this item up yourself at a location that we both agree on (near Tampa) - No money transfer/exchanges are to take place at pickup. The funds have to clear before picking up or shipping item. I will list a fictional price for shipping, make sure you understand what I mentioned above. I don't like issues in regards to the shipping of furniture, art or any object of value - the buyer can set up any shipping service they like at their own risk! Again, just notify me, paypal me the shipping money or simply pay for it in advance and I will take it to any pickup location: UPS, DHL, FedEx, freight within the boundaries of Tampa. With all this said, let's get to work! Like all our auctions, the prices will start at $1.00 with absolutely NO reserve! Highest Bidder Wins!
