Listing for auction is a Champion Sewing Machine and Cabinet I have listed this as a pickup only. I live the Western Washington, Seattle. The machine is not in functional order. I know one thing forsure is that the pulley cord needs tightening. The treadle moves smoothly and it looks as if all the parts are there but I am not an expert by any means. The oak cabinet is beautiful. It does have some deep scrapes on the part that folds down. My grandmother ran a big boarding house in Tacoma and it was left in one of the rooms when the tenant left 20 years ago. It has been instorage since then. The model Champion looks amazingly like a Singer. Best guess on its age is early 1900's.I cannot find any information on the Champion Sewing Machine Co., except that a man named Wallace Championin 1875 was involved in a small machine company with his name. I did see on the internet a Championshoe making machine. Probably connected in some way. Thank you for viewing, I hope you enjoyed looking at this beautiful machine.
