V RARE ANTIQUE CHARACTER TEAPOT MISTAKE NO LID BALD MAN LONG NOSE POTTERY Search Description This week we are offering some fine and rare items from a wonderful estate collection. AUCTIONS THIS WEEK ARE 5 DAYS ONLY DUE TO CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY! We are pleased to offer this extremely rare and unique teapot...possibly only one of it's kind. The teapot is hollow but only has one opening at the spout. It is in the form of a sinister looking bald man with a moustache and a fly on his forehead. This piece is beautifully painted, sculpted and glazed. There is an impressed mark which is a shield with a diagonal stripe and a crown on top, other impressed numbers and a painted number 35. I believe this piece may have been a mistake, as the spout is the only opening. It is very unique and certainly a conversation piece! This teapot is in excellent condition, with no damage, whatsoever. It measures 5" high X 5 1/2" wide X 8 1/2" handle to spout. Any additional information on the unknown maker would be greatly appreciated! AS ALWAYS......NO RESERVE!!!!!!!!! We guarantee the authenticity of every item we sell. All items are clearly described and photographed. If you have ANY questions or need additional photos, please email us, and we are happy to help. All items are sold as is, and exactly as described (returns accepted ONLY if item is missrepresented)
