I purchased this corner cabinet in 1985 at an estate sale in Salisbury, southern Somerset County, PA. I have loved this piece and it was a fixture in my dining room until recently. I am only selling it now as my parents have passed away and I wish to make room for their furniture. The cupboard breaks into two pieces for more easy moving. T are 3 shelves in the top piece, and two in the bottom. I am told the cabinet is cherry. The boards on the planked back of the cupboard may be newer and replacements from the original. I do not know if anything else has been restored or replaced. The drawer is dovetailed and has a porcelain knob. The drawer does have a crack in the front. It isn't gaping and never botd me, but I want you to know about it and will send close ups of it if you make a request. Please understand that the piece may come with the imperfections of its age, but it is in overall excellent shape. You are welcome to make arrangements with me to inspect this piece in person. Approximate dimensions are as follows: 77 1/2" High; 23 3/4 " Interior Depth; 52 1/2 " at widest point on top; and will take up 33 1/2 " on each side of the wall. Local pickup only in Davidsville, Pa, 7 miles south of Johnstown. I offer no shipping or packaging of item, but I am happy to accomodate your personal shipping arrangements to the best of my ability. Buyer is responsible for all shipping expense. Payment within 3 days of end of auction. I prefer payment via Paypal, but will accept money order and personal checks. If paying by personal check, allow 10 business days following receipt of check before pick up of item to allow check to clear. I reserve the right to end this auction early. The original text posted is incorrect in describing the location of a crack in the drawer. The crack is actually in the front of the panel in which the door sits, facing the cupboard it is to the left of the drawer. The cupboard will take up 36" on each side of the wall when measuring at the top trim board. The 33 1/2" posted in the original text is the side of the cupboard below the top trim.
