You are bidding on a beautiful Cherry or Mahogony Secretary Desk. It is probably early 20th century, but I do not know. It is 281/4 " wide, 16" from the wall at the base (thickest part), and 391/4" high. Hardware appears to be original. Weighs approximately 54 lbs. It has a lock at the top & a lock on the drawer; however, the key is missing to it. T is some damage to the veneer in various places which you should be able to see from the photos. The piece was purchased at a household auction. The history and exact age unknown. The style seems to be Empire Revival as you can see from the C-Scroll legs. This is a good, solid piece of furniture. Also, it is very beautiful.
