for auction is a very nice cherry wood antique eastlake music cabinet. not for sure that it is eastlake, but the incised lines on the gallery and sides suggests that it probably is. at any rate, a very nice little cabinet. it has a nice gallery at the top and sides which is pictured. the door, sides and back all have raised cherry panels which add a nice feature to the piece. it has three removable shelves. i just cleaned the inside with new life, a furniture cleaner so it looks a bit shinny or wet, but that will go away in a day or so. it has nice ball and claw wooden feet in the front and turned legs on the back. everything is original and the turned legs in the back are pegged into the piece, one leg is a bit loose, not bad, but i need to reglue and straiten it a bit. the first picture shows the color of the piece better than any of the other one i think. it also as you can see a nice little carved bottom crest piece. i expect it was made about 1900 or there abouts. it is in excellent condition, very solid and no missing parts or pieces. the dimensions are as follows, 42 inches to top of gallery, 13.25 deep, and just at 20 inches wide across the top. across the ball and claw feet it might be 21 inches, it is a bit wider there and that is widest point. is can probably go ups. shipping is at buyers expense. you are more than welcome to come and visit and pick it up however. i have 6 extra bedrooms upstairs and you are welcome to spent the night should you be driving a good ways. i am starting it at less than i think i paid a long time ago. good luck.
