Antique Chic French Louis XVI Dining Room Chairs ~10~NR THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION !!! You are bidding on a set of 10 Antique Shabby Chic Paint Decorated French Louis XVI Dining Room Chairs. This set was BEAUTIFULLY made and a RARE FIND due to its size, age and beauty. These chairs are Circa 1920 from France which to find a set of 10 is extremely hard to find these days. The set consists of 2 arm and 8 side chairs which all sit on beautifully curved and tapered French cabriole legs with scrolled feet at the bottom. The corner of each leg has a beautifully carved floral rosette motif. The front side skirt also has a nice decorative floral leaf design carved into the wood as well. The top of each chair all have a beautifully carved floral motif in a rose pedal shaped design in a nicely decorative floral pattern and these chairs were HAND CARVED and each carved motif slightly varies which makes it even more beautiful. The arm chairs are beautifully scrolled with a fluted and grooved trim pattern on the frames themselves. It has a beautiful and exotic chair design as you can see in the pictures below with nice paint decorated trim work. The upholstery is a beautiful Ivory leather or naughahide with a double embossed trim going throughout the edges and the arm chairs come with 2 down cushion seats that are removable. This set was VERY WELL made with quality that surpasses ANYTHING made today and is all wood construction but Please understand that this is antique so it has some minor imperfections on it and the upholstery needs to be proffesionally cleaned but overall its in excellent shape. The arm chairs overall are larger and measure approx 39 inches high, 24 1/2 inches wide, and 20 1/2 inches deep. The side chairs are approx 38 inches high, 19 1/2 inches wide, 18 inches deep and they al sit at approx 18 inches in height. This is a NO RESERVE auction and since I am assuming all the risk by starting the bidding at 1 dollar you will have to pay for shipping.
