Antique Chicago Automatic Pencil Sharpener - Pat. 1921
Up for bids is a vintage/antique pencil sharpener that was manufactured by the Automatic Pencil Sharpener Company of Chicago,IL. The sharpener still works well. The metal does show some rust pitting and but likely looks better then what the photos indicate. The handle is made of wood and I do not detect any cracks in the plastic shaving case. T are a number of patent dates with the first one being Jan. 9, 1900 and the last one being Sept. 13, 1921.
