Up for auction is a right foot baby/child shoe form. It's approximately 5 1/2" L x 21/4" W. Solid wood mold is stamped with the letter D and company name (illegible) and May 187? on one side and 25 on the other. On the front top of the shoe as well as on the top of the mold is carved "4 1/2 D." The shape has a rounded toe box. This may have been used to make Mary Janes or even the lace ups that toddlers used to wear. An unusual piece of yesteryear for the collector!
Condition: Very nice antique condition. No cracks in the wood.
P.S. I'll be posting more photos soon.
NON SMOKING/PET HOME.
