Easter is only five weeks away so we are offering an outstanding Easter gift, an antique double candy container circa 1890. It features a child with a celluloid face in a mohair rabbit costume sitting on a paper mache log with snow. It measures 5&1/2" high and 3&1/2" long. The bunny is gray mohair with printed paper ears and original silk neck bow. The outstanding feature of this container is the fact that the front of the log is removed to reveal one candy container while the head of the bunny can also be removed to reveal the second candy container. Everything is original and in excellent condition, the mohair has a few sparse areas which are really of no harm. T is no damage or repairs to the piece which is just a fantastic find.
