Antique Child's Portable Wood School Desk. Scroll on inside dated 1895 made by Powers Bros. Not sure if they also made the desk. The top part slides down and folds out. Metal carry handle. Missing the dowels that would hold the metal piece(part of the handle) that would keep the top and bottom together when open, see last 2 pics that show the holes where the dowels would go. Missing one of the four tips on dowels to turn scroll. Does not affect turning the scroll, and could be easily replaced. Comes with original slate eraser. There are some small tears on the scroll, see pics. Beautiful color picture of Lake Chautauqua on scroll. Desk measure approx. 22"W x 17"H on the lap part 20.5"H on the top part. X 3"D.
