This is a wonderful antique 18th or 19thC (or older) Chinese bronze figure statue. He is one of the 'Four Kings' deities. It is polychrome painted with gold gilt. He is holding a musical instrument. It is in excellent condition with no nicks, breaks or repairs. Only normal paint chipping and wear. It measures 8 1/2" tall with base that measures 3 1/2" x 2 7/8". You can see old iron pins under base that holds figure to base. I recently purchased this and other early Chinese bronzes (that I currently have listed separately) from a collector who is now deceased.Great old Chinese bronze!! NO RESERVE!!
