This auction is for a super Antique Chinese Burl wood Snuff Bottle. The snuff bottle has two carved horned lions on either side of the bottle. There is a smaller pup on the stopper. All of the carving is so unique, it had to have been done by a master carver.(see photos) The carving is so delicate as to make the animals seem to be alive. There is a pewter mount around the outside rim of the bottle. (see photos) Also, there is a spoon attached to the stopper. No damage, no repair. Measurement is 3 and 1/8 inches in height, 2 and ¼ inches in width, depth is 1 and 1/8 inches. If you do not own a snuff bottle collection, this is a great starter piece. The wood alone is beautiful. (1 inch = 2.54 cm). Do not request me to end the auction early; it will always run as listed. Also, there is no “BUY IT NOW ” price.
