ANTIQUE CHINESE CARVED WOOD TIGER ON STAND - GLASS EYES On offer this week is a selection of Oriental antiques and collectables, all have come from the same private collector and there is an eclectic mix of antique period pieces and good quality 20th century pieces. Please see all of my listings. On offer here is an antique Chinese carved wood tiger. The wood is dark with a rich red tone similar to mahogany but lighter. The tiger has incised stripes to the rear of its back. the tigers eyes are glass and his mouth is open displaying sharp ox bone teeth. There is a small tree to the rear by his feet and he stands upon a dark wood stand. It is a nice tactile piece. I am not sure of age but would guess at 20th century. It measures 7.2 inches wide and stands 8 inches high Condition; Pre owned, please study my photo's and ask important questions as my idea of condition could differ vastly to yours. It is in good display condition, there are no faults that I can find - as already mentioned please study all photo's which can be enlarged to larger than life size by I have tried to be accurate in my listing but I am not an expert whereas you probably are!
