An absolutely SUPER antique Chinese Champleve/Cloisonne Censer/Incense Burner. What I particularly like about this piece, is the extremely ornately carved wooden lid. See picture 5 for details on that. Has an attractive amber coloured finial. I am not quite sure of the material of it, but appears to be sort of a bakelite/celluloid type of material. Stylised Elephant handles on each side. Built in wooden base. Very good condition. If I weren't changing my decor, this would have been one item I would have been keeping for myself. Really lovely. Size is approximately 6 1/4" tall X 6" wide X 3 1/2" deep. Nice authentic Chinese pieces like this are getting more and more difficult to find, so don't miss this one.
