Offered is an Antique Chinese Porcelain Bowl from the Chien-Lung Dynasty, mid- to late 18th century dating from 1711 t0 1799. The base on the back (the ridge) of the dish is typical of this period. The bowl is marked with Chinese characters. A beautiful peony pattern adorns the center of the bowl, surrounded by an artfully done floral motif. Red bamboo adorns the back side. T are two small chips with three hairline cracks. The delicacy of the design is extraordinary. The bowl measures 7" edge to edge and stands 1 1/4" deep. The glazing is intricately done and beautifully appointed with a deft brush.
