Antique Chinese embroidered runner/cloth measures 13 1/2 inches wide by 45 inches long, shown on a deep purple background in the second and last photos which is not part of the runner. Coral color silk at the center with the ends of the cloth lavishly hand embroidered in the forbidden stitch with gorgeous florals in shades of blue. T are some spots on the silk on front. Also some water spotting on the solic blue color backing and a small rip/tear or 2 on the back as pictured. The pink border silk band on the front that is embroidered with butterflies is worn and has separation/fraying/shredding of the fabric which I've also tried to picture...t's also a small blue ink spot in the border(pic10). Still, it's stable and sewn in place this way. A few loose threads may be seen and t and t's some slight fading from age in a few spots. One of the ribbons that covers the seam between the blue sections and coral color silk has come loose and it appears to have been lightly glued over the seam originally, the rest looks hand sewn.
