This Auction is for an Absolutely Stunning Signed Chinese Copper Cloisonne Enamel Antique Snuff Bottle in Excellent Condition with its Original stopper, Unfortunately the Stopper has a Small Chip in The Enamel Showing Copper Benieth.... I do Not Know which way the Signature goes as I do Not read Chinese so You Will have to work that Out for Yourselves i'm affraid! I Have No Idea as to the Age of this Object as it was from a House Clearance many years Ago in London But It IS Thought to be Around c1900, As Most Items Were Around that Age In The House, BUT It Could Be a Lot Older.. The House was full of Fantastic Antiques including Many Snuff bottles, It Seems the Person who Lived there was a BIG COLLECTOR of Oriental Items, Most went to Auction but I kept a few of the Best Ones back and I am listing them here over the Next week so Please check out my other Auctions!! This Piece Measures 3" x 2" and is made from copper with Fantastic Thick Enamel Painting With Figures of a Mother With Child Which Looks Strangely European, Maybe this was Made for the Export Market... The Artists who did this was very proficiant as it is Done with Great Skill & The Enamelling is Sublime...This Snuff Bottle Has a Lovely Shape which is Very Tactile, The Glazing is Thick and Beautifully Done..
