ANTIQUE CHINESE ENAMEL ROSE QUARTZ AGATE CARNELIAN SILVER TONE NECKLACE & BRACELET FIGURAL This STUNNING RARE ANTIQUE CHINESE NECKLACE and BRACELETSET has ENAMEL FIGURES on SILVER TONE metal with CARVED ROSE QUARTZ, AGATE, and CARNELIAN BEADS and metal dangles. I think this may date from c. 1920s in the Art Deco period and the carved beads are most likely much older and could have come from an earlier court necklace. There are a multitude and variety of figures and the box clasps are beautifully ornamented as well with figures and enamel. Necklace measures approx. 17 5/8” in length, 2 1/2” in width including longest dangles and 7/8” in width not including dangles. Bracelet measures approx. 7 1/4” in wearable length and width is the same as the necklace. Both pieces are marked “CHINA” on the backs of the clasps. A base metal was used then coated with silver instead of solid silver most likely to give the piece added strength. Overall in GOOD vintage condition with wear due to normal use including wear or loss to silver tone metal, enamel loss, surface wear or nicks to stones mostly at the tops, a couple missing metal spacers, and a couple dangles and one stone bead & dangle missing on the bracelet.
