Up for auction, Antique gold Medallion teapot. Approx. 6 1/2" wide (including spout) x 5 " high. I don't have a lot of knowledge when it comes to this type of porcelain, but I think this piece is from the later part of the 19th century. There are imperfections in the clay to both the interior and bottom. There's no stamp on the bottom. Overall, I feel the teapot is in excellent shape for it's age- no chips or cracks. Glaze in some places is worn from use; and the fabric on the handles is worn. This pot comes in a padded basket that was form fitted- will ship very well!
