Please Email me directly with questions or buy it now option by This piece is a rare antique Chinese export silver gilt snuff box with a chased and engraved countryside scene to the lid with leaf and berry decoration around the sides. This is in good complete condition, the lid closing with a click. There is wear to the decoration and gilding and dents to the base - all shown clearly below. The lid edge bears French boars head discharge marks for small silver. I'm unsure of the age of this box - early 19th century I would guess. (25.4mm to the inch) The size is 62mm across x 44mm wide x 14mm deep. WEIGHT (approx) (31.1g to the troy ounce) The weight is 67g. Gross.
