Chinese Tea Caddy

We have had this wonderful Antique Chinese Tea Caddy in our collection for a number of years. It is in very good vintage condition and it has part of an impressed "China" mark on the bottom. We believe it is probably made of copper with the remains of a silver tone wash and it has some wear and patina consistent with age. We have seen many different types of Oriental tea caddies, but this is the only one we have seen in the form of an apple or an orange. It stands approximately 3 3/4" high with a 2 1/2" opening at the top.
