The entire screen measures 72" (187.2cm) tall x 96" (249.6 cm) wide x 1.5" (3.9 cm) thick. Each panel of this screen measures 72.0" (187.2cm) tall x 16.0" (41.6cm) wide and 1.5" (3.9 cm) thick. The back of each panel is decorated in black lacquer with gold gilt scenes of foo dogs in the Yin Yang formation on the top, lotus flowers on the bottom, and palace and village scenes among mountains in the middle. The front of each panel is decorated with black lacquer with gold gilt, and inlaid with white jade, celadon jade, spinach jade, agate, zitan wood, polychromatic lacquered wood, and other precious materials. The frame surrounding each of the inset panels is deeply carved and lacquered in dark red. AMAZING & BEAUTIFUL!!!!!

The screen decoration signifies good luck, and happy marriage with many boy children.

There is NO DAMAGE or REPAIRS to any jade, agate, or other precious materials in the inlay. There is NO DAMAGE or REPAIRS to any of the gilt gold scenes on the lacquer.

THERE ARE some CHIPS/CRACKS to the black lacquer frame (SEE PHOTOS in LINK), there are some hinges that are missing, AND the black lacquer on the frame of one panel is lifted (SEE PHOTO in LINK). One of the brass fittings that covers the foot of the screen is missing.
