I bought this carved jade bowl in an antique shop about 15 years ago. I have never seen a similar one. The owner said when she was a little girl it was given to her father, who was a doctor, by one of his patients.The pictures do not convey the beauty of this jade bowl. I can only try to describe it. This is one piece of jade carved into a bowl with edges only 1cm wide.The upper Rim has 24 four petal flowers. The middle section displays 6 six petal flowersThe lower rim has 12 three petal flowersThe foot of the bowl is carved into 22 flutes with a six petal flower in the center.Dimensions: 6.25" diameter x 2.5" heightCondition: Please see last photoSince I could not find anything comparable, I based the price on the following: the skill in carving this bowl, its' rarity probability that it is an antique bowls of this quality are not being made anymore RETURN POLICY: If you are not happy with it for any reason you can return it within 3 days of delivery for full refund.
